PLN Indonesia Power UBP Priok Supports Early Childhood Growth and Nutrition Through TAMASYA Parenting Program

Jakarta, September 23, 2026 — PT PLN Indonesia Power Priok Generation Business Unit (UBP Priok) continues to support children's health and development through the TAMASYA Parenting Program at Melati Budi Insani Inclusive Early Childhood Education Center (PAUD), Warakas Village, North Jakarta.

The activity was held at Melati Budi Insani Early Childhood Education Center and featured nutrition expert Nila Krisnasari from the Warakas Village Community Health Center (Puskesmas Pembantu).

Through this program, parents received information about early childhood development, balanced nutrition, and the importance of proper parenting in supporting children's physical growth, cognitive development, and overall health.

Assistant Manager of Security and Public Relations at PLN Indonesia Power UBP Priok, Astri Oktavina, said the program reflects the company's commitment to improving children's health and education in communities around its operational area.

“Young children need support in many areas, including nutrition, health, education, and proper parenting at home. Through the TAMASYA Parenting Program, we hope parents gain useful knowledge that they can apply in supporting their children's growth and development,” said Astri.

During the session, nutrition expert Nila Krisnasari explained that adequate nutrition during early childhood is very important because this period plays a major role in determining children's health and development in the future.

“Providing proper nutrition is not only about the amount of food children eat. Parents also need to consider variety, balance, cleanliness, and whether the food is suitable for the child's age and needs. Parents should also regularly monitor their children's growth so that any developmental problems can be identified and addressed as early as possible,” explained Nila.

The activity was held in an interactive format, with presentations followed by discussions with parents. Participants also had the opportunity to consult about various issues related to children's eating habits, nutritional needs, and early childhood growth and development.

Through this activity, PLN Indonesia Power UBP Priok hopes to increase parents' understanding and active involvement in meeting children's nutritional needs and supporting their growth and development.

The program is also part of the company's efforts to support the development of a healthy, smart, and high-quality generation for the future.
