PLN Indonesia Power UBP Barito Provides Free Health Checkups for Pelambuan Residents
Banjarmasin, September 21, 2026 — To celebrate the 500th Anniversary of Banjarmasin City, PLN Indonesia Power, in collaboration with Pelambuan Village Administration and Pelambuan Community Health Center (Puskesmas Pelambuan), held a social service activity providing free health checkups for residents of Pelambuan Village, particularly those living in RT 60 and RT 62.
The activity was held at Gang Simpang Jagung, Pelambuan Village, on Monday (September 21). It was part of the company's efforts to provide direct benefits to the community while strengthening collaboration to support people's quality of life.
A total of 250 households received the benefits of the program. In addition to receiving free health checkups from medical staff at Pelambuan Community Health Center, residents also received basic food packages, including cooking oil.
The activity was attended by Neli Listriani, wife of the Mayor of Banjarmasin and Chairwoman of Commission IV of the Banjarmasin City Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), as well as the Head of Banjarmasin Barat District and the Head of Pelambuan Village.
The presence of local government representatives demonstrated their support for collaboration among various stakeholders in organizing social activities that provide direct benefits to the community.
Neli Listriani expressed her appreciation for PLN Indonesia Power's initiative to take part in the 500th Anniversary celebrations of Banjarmasin City through an activity that directly addresses the needs of the community.
“We highly appreciate and would like to express our deepest gratitude to PLN Indonesia Power for initiating this activity to celebrate the 500th anniversary of Banjarmasin City through a social service program that creates a direct impact on the community,” said Neli Listriani.
Manager of PLN Indonesia Power UBP Barito, Nyoman Sukma Aryawan, said the activity reflects the company's commitment to being present and creating real benefits for the community.
“We see the 500th Anniversary of Banjarmasin City as an opportunity to share and create real benefits for the community. Through this free health checkup program, we hope residents, especially those in Pelambuan Village, can gain better access to health services and become more aware of the importance of taking care of their own health and the health of their families,” said Sukma.
The social service activity is part of PLN Indonesia Power's commitment to making a positive contribution to communities around its operational areas. In addition to supporting reliable electricity supply, PLN Indonesia Power continues to develop social initiatives that provide direct and sustainable benefits to the community.
Through collaboration with Pelambuan Village Administration and Pelambuan Community Health Center, the activity is expected to increase public awareness of the importance of regular health checkups while strengthening cooperation in developing programs that create positive impacts for the people of Banjarmasin City.
