PLN Indonesia Power Promotes Global Collaboration Through Hydrogen Ecosystem Development

Jakarta, July 15, 2026 – PT PLN Indonesia Power reaffirmed its commitment to clean energy development by welcoming The Premier Delegation of California State Legislature Members and California Business Delegates at the Hydrogen Refuelling Station (HRS) Senayan, Jakarta.

The visit to HRS Senayan served as an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience on the use of hydrogen as a low-carbon energy source for the transportation sector. It also opened new opportunities for international collaboration to accelerate the energy transition toward a cleaner and more sustainable future.

The delegation was welcomed by Buyung Arianto, General Manager of PLN Indonesia Power's Priok Power Generation Business Unit (UBP Priok), together with the management team. During the visit, PLN Indonesia Power presented its initiatives and achievements in developing Indonesia's hydrogen ecosystem, including green hydrogen production, hydrogen utilization to support power plant operations, and the development of Hydrogen Refuelling Stations (HRS) as part of the country's energy transition.

PLN Indonesia Power continues to develop low-carbon energy innovations as part of its transformation into a sustainable energy solutions provider. Hydrogen development has become one of the company's strategic priorities in supporting Indonesia's Net Zero Emissions target while strengthening national energy security.

Buyung Arianto stated that the visit from the California delegation reflects international recognition of PLN Indonesia Power's progress in hydrogen development and creates new opportunities for mutually beneficial global partnerships.

On the same occasion, Stephanie Nguyen, Assembly Member for California's 10th District (Sacramento), expressed her appreciation for PLN Indonesia Power's efforts in establishing Indonesia's hydrogen ecosystem.
