UBP Grati Provides 26,000 Liters of Clean Water to Kedungrejo Village Residents
Pasuruan, September 21, 2026 — Amid ongoing drought conditions affecting some communities, PT PLN Indonesia Power UBP Grati, together with Dompet Dhuafa East Java, PT Garda Power Mandiri, and PT Bakti Jaya Abadi, provided clean water assistance to residents of Kedungrejo Village, Winongan District, Pasuruan Regency.
A total of 26,000 liters of clean water were distributed to several locations in need. The assistance was delivered to Krajan 5 Hamlet, Sumbertelur Hamlet, Krajan 1 Hamlet, and Krajan 2 Hamlet, with each location receiving approximately 6,500 liters of water.
Overall, the assistance reached 114 beneficiaries, or approximately 482 people, who needed access to clean water for their daily needs.
Assistant Manager of Security and Public Relations at PT PLN Indonesia Power, Akhmad Khayubi, said that the collaboration with Dompet Dhuafa East Java was a form of the company's concern for communities around its operational area.
“We hope this clean water assistance can help meet the community's needs, especially for residents affected by the drought. This collaboration is a joint effort to ensure that the assistance reaches those who need it most and provides real benefits,” said Akhmad.
Meanwhile, Head of Dompet Dhuafa East Java Branch, Moch Rizzqi Aladib, said that the clean water distribution was a form of shared concern for communities experiencing limited access to water.
“Clean water is a basic need. We hope this assistance can help ease the burden on residents and become part of our joint efforts to deal with the ongoing drought,” said Rizzqi.
Through this collaboration, PT PLN Indonesia Power UBP Grati and Dompet Dhuafa East Java hope that the assistance will not only help meet the community's clean water needs, but also demonstrate the spirit of care and cooperation in responding to drought conditions.
