Tarhib Ramadan 1447 H: Yayasan An Nur Insan Pembangkitan PLN Indonesia Power Strengthens the Spirit of Sharing and Compassion
Jakarta, February 12, 2026 – In welcoming the Holy Month of Ramadan 1447 Hijriah, Yayasan An Nur Insan Pembangkitan PLN Indonesia Power organized a Tarhib Ramadan event held solemnly at Masjid An Nur, Head Office of PLN Indonesia Power. The event was attended by representatives of management and PLN Indonesia Power personnel, marking Ramadan as a meaningful occasion to strengthen spiritual values and social responsibility.
As a tangible expression of compassion, the foundation symbolically distributed assistance consisting of:
Basic food packages for single mothers, aimed at easing household needs ahead of Ramadan.
Donations for orphans and underprivileged beneficiaries, to bring encouragement and joy in welcoming the blessed month.
The “Sharing the Qur’an” program, supporting Qur’anic literacy and expanding access to religious education within the community.
The symbolic handover of assistance by management representatives and employees was received with gratitude and emotion by the beneficiaries. The moment underscored that the Company’s presence extends beyond operational performance, embracing a broader humanitarian mission.
The Tarhib Ramadan event was further enriched by a sermon delivered by Reza M. Syarief. In his remarks, he conveyed five essential meanings of Ramadan fasting. First, as a hidden act of worship that nurtures honesty and integrity, known fully only to Allah. Second, as a passive act of worship that teaches self-restraint by controlling desires. Third, as an internal act of worship that encourages personal reflection and self-improvement. Fourth, as an individual act of worship that emphasizes personal accountability. Fifth, as a transformative act of worship that should result in meaningful change in attitude and behavior.
“Fasting is an act of worship unseen by people but fully seen by Allah. It is through this that we are trained to uphold honesty, integrity, and inner self-improvement,” he stated.
He further emphasized that Ramadan is not merely an annual observance, but a moment of character building. “Ramadan is not only about refraining from hunger and thirst, but about transformation. If after Ramadan we become more patient, more compassionate, and more disciplined, then we have embraced the true meaning of worship,” he added.
Through this Tarhib Ramadan event, PLN Indonesia Power hopes that all personnel will welcome the Holy Month with sincerity and readiness, embracing it as a source of renewed energy to become individuals who are more virtuous, uphold integrity, and contribute positively to society.
