Supporting Community Recovery, PLN Indonesia Power Distributes Aid to Five Affected Posts in Aceh Tamiang

Aceh, December 11, 2025 — As a form of care and the company’s commitment to supporting communities around its operational areas, PLN Indonesia Power (PLN IP) once again moved swiftly to stand at the frontline in assisting residents affected by disaster. As part of the company’s responsive action to the emergency situation in Aceh Tamiang, PLN IP distributed humanitarian aid to five main posts that serve as centers for community support and fulfillment of essential needs.

The distribution of aid was directly led by M. Hanafi Nur Rifai, Director of Coal Power Plant Operations at PLN IP, who went on site to ensure that community needs were met. This action represents a tangible expression of PLN Indonesia Power’s concern in providing direct support and helping ease the burden of affected residents.

In collaboration with LAZ PLN IP, the aid distributed included various basic necessities such as food packages and medicines. More than 250 packages of essential supplies were delivered to five key points: Al Ikhlas Mosque Post in Aceh Tamiang, Ministry of Social Affairs Post, Tualang Cut Substation Post, YBM ULP Post, and Police Post.

During his visit, Hanafi personally greeted officers and residents at the posts to provide moral support and ensure that the aid reached its intended recipients. The company’s presence was not only to distribute assistance but also to demonstrate empathy and solidarity amid challenging conditions.

Hanafi stated that the aid provided was a manifestation of PLN IP’s concern in accompanying communities. He emphasized that the company would continue to be present among residents, offering real and sustainable support so that the recovery process could proceed more quickly and safely.

"This assistance is not merely the distribution of logistics, but a reflection of our commitment to always stand with the community. PLN Indonesia Power will continue to provide consistent support so that the recovery process runs faster, safer, and more sustainable," he said.

Through this action, PLN IP once again reaffirmed its role as an energy company that not only ensures reliable electricity but also stands as a partner to communities in facing various emergency and recovery situations.
