PLN Indonesia Power UBP Keramasan Provides Immediate Assistance to Fire Victims in Kertapati
Palembang, April 16, 2026 – PT PLN Indonesia Power's Keramasan Power Generation Business Unit (UBP Keramasan), through LAZ Annur UBP Keramasan, responded quickly by providing humanitarian assistance to residents affected by a fire in Keramasan Village, located on Zainal Abidin Street, RT 10 RW 02, Kertapati District, Palembang.
The fire, which occurred on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at approximately 12:30 p.m., completely destroyed one house and affected three families, with a total of nine people impacted by the incident.
As a gesture of compassion and support, Syafi'i, Manager of PLN Indonesia Power UBP Keramasan, personally handed over relief assistance to one of the victims, Abu Hasan.
The aid distribution was also attended by Rifandi Putra, Acting Head of Kertapati District, and Virgiyanti, Head of Keramasan Village.
On the occasion, Rifandi Putra expressed his appreciation and gratitude to PLN Indonesia Power UBP Keramasan for its prompt response and concern for residents affected by the disaster.
"We sincerely thank PLN Indonesia Power UBP Keramasan for providing assistance to the residents of Kertapati District who were affected by this fire. Your quick response and support are greatly appreciated," he said.
Meanwhile, Syafi'i conveyed his deepest sympathy to the affected families.
"We are deeply saddened by this unfortunate incident. We hope the assistance provided can help ease the burden on the victims and give them the strength to recover and rebuild their lives," he said.
The distribution of aid reflects PLN Indonesia Power UBP Keramasan's ongoing commitment to its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and demonstrates the company's dedication to supporting communities surrounding its operational areas.
