Celebrating Indonesia’s 81st Independence Day, PLN Indonesia Power Strengthens Its Commitment to Provide Energy for a Sovereign, Fair, and Prosperous Indonesia

Jakarta, August 17, 2026 — The 81st Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia is an important moment for PLN Indonesia Power to strengthen its contribution to the country’s progress by providing reliable energy. This spirit was reflected in the flag-raising ceremony commemorating Indonesia’s 81st Independence Day, which carried the theme “A Sovereign, Fair, and Prosperous Indonesia,” on Monday (August 17).

The ceremony was held solemnly and attended by the Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners, Senior Leaders, and employees of PLN Indonesia Power. Director of Human Capital Management & Administration Ridho Hutomo served as the ceremony leader.

Also attending were members of the PLN Indonesia Power Board of Directors: Director of Finance and Risk Management Endang Astharanti, Director of Business and Commercial Development Julita Indah, Director of Coal-Fired Power Generation Operations Moch. Padang Dirgantara, and Director of Gas Operations and Power Generation Daniel Eliawardhana.

From the Board of Commissioners, those attending included President Commissioner Arief Budiman, Commissioner Ardinanda Sinulingga, and Commissioner Mohammad Dawam.

The 81st Independence Day celebration was also a reminder for all PLN Indonesia Power employees that the spirit of Indonesia’s independence is not only expressed through ceremonies and honoring the heroes who fought for the country, but also through real work and the best possible contribution to Indonesia.
