Realizing Zero Harm Zero Loss, PLN Indonesia Power UBP Barito Holds a Series of Occupational Safety and Health Month 2026 Activities
Banjarmasin, 21 January 2026 – In commemoration of the 2026 National Occupational Safety and Health (OSH/K3) Month, PLN Indonesia Power UBP Barito organized a series of activities under the theme “Strengthening Inclusive and Collaborative Cross-Role Synergy and Sustainable Technology Utilization to Achieve Zero Harm Zero Loss.” The program aims to reinforce a strong safety and health culture and to enhance the commitment of all employees to the consistent implementation of OSH in the workplace.
The series of activities commenced on Monday, 19 January 2026, with an OSH Assembly held at the yard of the PLN Indonesia Power UBP Barito Office. The assembly was attended by all personnel of UBP Barito, as well as representatives from PLN Indonesia Power units across South Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan.
The OSH Assembly was led directly by the Manager of PLN Indonesia Power UBP Barito, Nyoman Sukma Aryawan, and was conducted in an orderly and respectful manner. The event concluded with a group photo session and a communal breakfast, reflecting unity and solidarity among participants.
On the same day, the activities continued with a Fire Drill Competition involving all work divisions. This activity aimed to enhance employee preparedness and capability in responding to fire emergency situations. The first day’s activities were conducted in an engaging atmosphere and complemented by the distribution of door prizes to participants.
On the second day, Tuesday, 20 January 2026, PLN Indonesia Power UBP Barito conducted occupational health and safety awareness sessions. The first session was delivered by Muhammad Riza from the South Kalimantan Provincial Health Office, focusing on the prevention and management of HIV/AIDS in the workplace.
The second session was presented by Jumali from the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Yogyakarta City, covering First Aid in Accidents (P3K) to improve employees’ basic knowledge and skills in handling medical emergencies at work.
Following the awareness sessions, the activities continued with an OSH Knowledge Competition conducted interactively through the Kahoot application. This initiative reflects the use of technology to enhance employee understanding and active participation in strengthening the OSH culture.
On the same day, awards were presented to employees with the highest OSH reporting records through the IPSAFE application, as a form of appreciation for active participation in promoting workplace safety. In addition, the winners of the Fire Drill Competition held on the previous day were also announced.
Beyond internal activities, as part of social responsibility and the sustainable implementation of OSH values, PLN Indonesia Power UBP Barito will also organize a blood donation program on 30 January 2026 at the Pangeran Antasari Hall, UBP Barito Office. The program will be open to employees and business partners.
Manager of PLN Indonesia Power UBP Barito, Nyoman Sukma Aryawan, stated that this year’s OSH Month theme highlights the importance of collaboration and innovation in OSH implementation.
“Through strengthened cross-role synergy, the utilization of technology, and the involvement of all employees, we are committed to consistently and sustainably achieving the Zero Harm Zero Loss target,” he said.
Through the implementation of this OSH Month program, PLN Indonesia Power UBP Barito reaffirms its commitment to creating a safe, healthy, inclusive, and sustainably performance-oriented work environment.
