PLN Indonesia Power UBP Priok Holds Power Kids Summer Camp 2026 to Introduce Inclusive Preschool Children to Energy and Environmental Awareness
Jakarta, June 25, 2026 – PLN Indonesia Power UBP Priok held Power Kids Summer Camp 2026 on Thursday, June 25, 2026, providing a fun and interactive learning experience for children to explore the world of electricity while developing environmental awareness from an early age.
The program was attended by students from PAUD Inklusi, an inclusive preschool supported by PLN Indonesia Power UBP Priok through its community development program. During the event, the children participated in engaging educational activities designed to introduce them to electricity, environmental conservation, and the important role of power plants in supporting everyday life.
Power Kids Summer Camp 2026 was officially opened by Buyung Arianto, General Manager of PLN Indonesia Power UBP Priok. In his remarks, he explained that the program reflects the company's commitment to creating positive impacts beyond reliable power generation by contributing to education and community development.
"Through this program, we hope the children gain meaningful, enjoyable, and memorable learning experiences. From an early age, children should understand the importance of electricity and environmental care so they can grow into responsible, caring, and knowledgeable individuals," said Buyung Arianto.
The event also demonstrates PLN Indonesia Power UBP Priok's support for early childhood education, particularly for children enrolled in its partner inclusive preschool. By involving children with diverse learning needs, the company aims to create an inclusive, welcoming, and enjoyable learning environment where every child has the opportunity to learn and grow.
Throughout the program, the children explored the world of energy through simple, interactive activities that were easy to understand and enjoyable to participate in. They also learned the importance of protecting the environment, helping them realize that caring for nature is a shared responsibility that begins at an early age.
