PLN Indonesia Power UBP Mrica Supports MURI Record of 45,500 Cups of Dawet Ayu in Celebration of Banjarnegara’s 455th Anniversary Through Ramadan Takjil Distribution at Mrica Corner
Banjarnegara, February 26, 2026 – In celebration of the 455th Anniversary of Banjarnegara Regency in 2026, PLN Indonesia Power Generation Business Unit (UBP) Mrica participated in the MURI record-breaking event for the distribution of 45,500 cups of Dawet Ayu Banjarnegara. The initiative formed part of the anniversary celebrations while also promoting the preservation of a traditional culinary heritage that remains a source of pride for the local community.
PLN Indonesia Power UBP Mrica contributed to the initiative by preparing and distributing 100 cups of Dawet Ayu to visitors of Mrica Corner, surrounding communities, and employees present at the event. The distribution at Mrica Corner reflected the company’s support for local government programs and its ongoing effort to strengthen engagement with the community.
The MURI record attempt was conducted simultaneously across multiple locations in Banjarnegara and connected virtually with the Banjarnegara Regency Government. The total of 45,500 cups symbolized the 455th anniversary of the regency, representing unity and the shared spirit of regional development.
In addition to contributing to the MURI record, the activity at Mrica Corner was also part of a broader social initiative of distributing free takjil during the month of Ramadan. Through this program, PLN Indonesia Power UBP Mrica aimed to share the spirit of giving while reinforcing social care and solidarity during the holy month.
This participation underscores PLN Indonesia Power UBP Mrica’s commitment to actively contributing to community social initiatives and supporting local government programs. The event is expected not only to mark an achievement through the MURI record, but also to strengthen synergy between PLN Indonesia Power UBP Mrica, the regional government, and the people of Banjarnegara.
