PLN Indonesia Power Inaugurates HUB UBH Area 3.3 Tello Building as MRO and Beyond kWh Center for Eastern Indonesia

Makassar, February 7, 2026 – PLN Indonesia Power continues to strengthen its business transformation and role as an integrated energy service provider through the inauguration of the HUB Building of the Maintenance Business Unit (UBH) Area 3.3 Tello, located at the HUB UBH Area 3.3 Tello Office in Makassar. The facility is established not only as a regional Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) service center, but also as a Beyond kWh HUB for Eastern Indonesia, oriented toward value creation and corporate profitability.

The HUB UBH Area 3.3 Tello will serve as an operational support center for Sulawesi, Nusa Tenggara, Maluku, and Papua, while expanding business services beyond conventional power generation. Through this facility, UBH advances its transformation from a cost center into a value creator by delivering commercial services such as MRO, Remaining Life Assessment (RLA), tools rental, expert services, as well as relocation and technical support for PLN Group entities and external customers.

The inauguration ceremony commenced with a joint prayer as an expression of gratitude, followed by a ribbon-cutting led by Purnomo, Director of Gas Operations of PLN Indonesia Power, together with Rahmat Syahputra Lubis, General Manager of PLN Indonesia Power UBH. The event concluded with the signing of a commemorative plaque, symbolizing the official operation of HUB UBH Area 3.3 Tello.

In his remarks, Purnomo emphasized the importance of the Beyond kWh strategy as the Company’s transformation direction.
“UBH must no longer serve solely as an internal operational support unit, but also act as a driver of new business growth. With strong MRO capabilities, extensive experience, and highly competent human resources, we have significant opportunities to enter external markets and create added value for the Company,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Rahmat Syahputra Lubis highlighted that the establishment of the Tello HUB represents a strategic step to bring services closer to customers while enhancing speed, efficiency, and competitiveness.“This HUB will serve as a center for collaboration, innovation, and competency development for UBH personnel. We are confident that UBH will become a trusted partner for MRO and Beyond kWh services in Eastern Indonesia, contributing directly to the Company’s revenue growth,” he explained.

Supported by modern infrastructure, experienced experts, and an adaptive business approach, HUB UBH Area 3.3 Tello is expected to expand market share, increase non-kWh revenue, and reinforce PLN Indonesia Power’s contribution to national energy resilience and sustainability.

The event concluded with a gathering and luncheon, reflecting unity and synergy among all PLN Indonesia Power personnel.
