Asam Asam, June 3, 2026 – PLN Indonesia Power UBP Asam Asam welcomed an industrial visit from students and lecturers of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Lambung Mangkurat University. The visit provided students with the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of power generation systems and the electrical technologies used in the daily operation of a power plant.

During the visit, the students attended technical presentations delivered by experts from Asam Asam Steam Power Plant (PLTU Asam Asam). The sessions introduced the electrical systems and equipment that support power plant operations, giving students a better understanding of how electrical engineering principles are applied in the industry to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient electricity generation.

In addition to the presentations, the students participated in interactive discussions with the plant's experts. They learned about power plant operations, equipment functions, control systems, maintenance practices, and the challenges involved in operating a power generation facility.
