PLN Indonesia Power Demonstrates Its Commitment to Communities Through LAZ Annur Assistance for Orphanages and Underprivileged Families
Makassar, June 25, 2026 – As part of its commitment to sustainable business performance and social responsibility, LAZ Annur of PLN Indonesia Power UBP Tello distributed assistance to several orphanages and underprivileged families living in the company's surrounding operational area. This initiative reflects PLN Indonesia Power UBP Tello's ongoing commitment to creating meaningful benefits for the communities where it operates.
The assistance was handed over directly by Mustafa, Chairman of LAZ Annur UBP Tello, accompanied by the Treasurer of LAZ Annur PLN Indonesia Power UBP Tello, representatives of PIKK UBP Tello, and Srikandi PLN Indonesia Power UBP Tello. The donations were received by the managers of the orphanages to help support their daily operations and meet the needs of the children under their care.
The recipient orphanages included Yatim Sejahtera Orphanage, Tobalu Orphanage, Nurfadilla Orphanage, Cendekia Orphanage, and Hidayatullah Orphanage. All of these institutions are located within PLN Indonesia Power UBP Tello's surrounding operational area. Through this program, the company aims to strengthen its relationship with local communities while providing direct social benefits.
Through the LAZ Annur program, PLN Indonesia Power UBP Tello helps provide food assistance for orphaned children and supports the operational needs of the orphanages. The initiative also reflects the company's values of compassion, solidarity, and community engagement, demonstrating that its role extends beyond ensuring reliable electricity generation to creating positive social impact.
