Pasuruan, February 14, 2026 – As part of its commitment to supporting the surrounding community, LAZ Annur PLN Indonesia Power UBP Grati organized a social initiative titled “Belanja Ceria” (Joyful Shopping) with 100 orphaned and underprivileged children on Saturday, February 14, 2026. Held at Sandang Ayu Shopping Center, the event created a warm, joyful, and engaging atmosphere, fostering meaningful interaction between employees and the children.

Chairperson of LAZ Annur, Christna Hadjarwan, explained that the program was designed to provide a fresh and enjoyable experience for the children. While charitable activities are commonly conducted within orphanage settings, this initiative introduced a different approach by inviting the children to shop directly at a retail center, allowing them to step outside their routine and experience a more interactive and uplifting environment.

During the event, each child received a shopping voucher that could be used immediately to purchase their personal needs. In addition, the organizing committee provided pocket money as an expression of care and compassion. With the freedom to choose their own items, the children showed enthusiasm and confidence, creating a more personal and memorable experience.

“Belanja Ceria is part of the company’s social commitment to strengthen the values of empathy, care, and togetherness,” said Erwin Andy Herlambang, Senior Manager of PLN Indonesia Power UBP Grati.

He further noted that the program not only delivers material assistance but also fosters emotional connection between employees and the community. The warm interactions throughout the event reflect how simple acts of care can create genuine happiness and strengthen a sense of togetherness.

The smiles and laughter of the children throughout the shopping area served as a reminder that giving is not only about providing support, but also about creating shared moments of happiness. Through this initiative, LAZ Annur hopes to continuously nurture the spirit of giving and generate sustainable benefits for the surrounding community.
